The Sacred Heart Cathedral boys tennis team won their division at the California Tennis Classic, held March 6th and 7th in Fresno, marking an impressive performance in the program's first appearance at the tournament.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Andy Liang, the Irish delivered a solid showing throughout the two-day competition. The Irish opened the tournament on March 6 with a pair of commanding victories, defeating Tulare Union 6–0 and Clovis West #2 6–0.

The following day presented tougher competition, but the Irish continued their strong play, defeating Madera South  5–1 before closing the tournament with another decisive 6–0 win over Mt. Whitney High.

Coach Liang expressed pride in how the team competed throughout the tournament, especially as the level of play intensified on the second day.
