Sacred Heart Cathedral Athletics

While the Fightin' Irish tradition of athletic excellence goes beyond the wins, titles and awards, we are proud of the accomplishments of our student-athletes and coaches, which represent the hard work and commitment they put forth on a daily basis. 

SHC Athletics has earned championship titles for more than a century in every sport we offer.  League, section and state championship banners spanning a century adorn our historic Brother Arnold Gym.  

Sacred Heart Cathedral boasts 10 State Championships in various sports, the most recent captured in 2021 in football.  

 

Sacred Heart Cathedral boasts the only McDonald's High School All-American in San Francisco, Tierra Rogers '09. 

 

Sacred Heart Cathedral boasts the first ever Naismith Girls High School Coach of the Year, Brian Harrigan '78.
