Senior football player Chase Jenkins 27' was named SHC's Athlete of the Week for October 6. In last Saturday's dominating 35-7 win over St. Francis, Jenkins was absolutely electric. The wide receiver hauled in 5 catches for 187 yards and 3 touchdowns. The first was a 32-yard strike, the second was a 25-yard catch off a broken play and the third was an incredible 93-yard deep ball that sealed the game against the Lancers. For good measure, Jenkins added an interception on defense to complete his day. The Fightin' Irish are back on the gridiron this Saturday when they travel to play San Francisco rival Archbishop Riordan. Kickoff is at 1:30pm.

Congratulations Chase, GO IRISH!
