The Sacred Heart Cathedral swim program is concluding their 2025 season with their annual service project with the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. The swimmers volunteer on a series of Saturday mornings to give back to the community by teaching young children how to swim.

The Irish coaching staff believe that these weekly swim lessons not only help kids build confidence and safety in the water, but also reflect the heart of what it means to be an SHC student: compassionate, service-oriented, and committed to making a positive impact.

Assistant Coach Andrew Ng '14 stated, "We're so proud of our swimmers for leading with kindness, patience,  joy and for representing SHC so beautifully, in and out of the pool."
