The Sacred Heart Cathedral softball team opened the season with a bang on Wednesday as they beat University 17-0 behind the stellar performance of pitcher Adriana Giomi '25.  The Manhattan College commit pitched a perfect game which included 11 strikeouts. Offensively, Arden Walsh '25 went 2 for 2 with a homerun, a triple and 3 RBIs, and Sydney Endo '25 went 2 for 2 with a double. In her high school debut, Madison Barlesi '28 went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs.  

The Irish back in action on Monday, March 10, when they travel to Woodside to take on the Wildcats. Go IRISH!
