Sacred Heart Cathedral Track & Field had a great meet in Los Gatos on Friday with a new school record and several top marks in the 25 years of Coach Andy Chan's tenure. Nine out of the 16 marks from the meet were among the top four marks in the last quarter century. Highlights include:
The highlight of the day came when a new school record was set by
Isaiah Keishk the Boys 100. Keishk ran a 10.70, beating the record set by SHC Instructor of English and Social Studies Christon Rance '96. Isaiah's marks rank him #7 in the CCS in the 100 and #6 in the CCS in the 200 overall. The Girls 4X4 team is ranked #3 overall in CCS.
The team now prepares for WCAL Trials with the goal of qualifiying for the WCAL Finals, Central Coast Section Championships and the State Meet. WCAL Trials take place this Saturday, April 29, and are hosted by St. Francis in Mountain View. For the full post season schedule, visit the
