Senior varsity girls volleyball middle blocker Audrey Brennan 27' was named SHC's Athlete of the Week for September 1. Last Saturday at the Milpitas Spikefest, Brennan turned in a dominating performance, leading the Fightin' Irish to a 4-1 record on the day and a second place finish. In the 5 matches, she had 27 kills on 42 attempts with only 5 errors, for a .524 hitting efficiency and a 65% kill percentage. In addition, she had an incredible 17 blocks for kills, 6 aces and the highest plus/minus on the team by double. Brennan and the Irish look to continue their stellar play tonight when they host the Burlingame Panther at 6:30pm.
