Sacred Heart Cathedral Cross Country had a strong showing at the Baylands Invitational on Friday, highlighted by 15 individual medalists and team victories in both the Senior Girls and Junior Girls races. Maya Pfalzer '27 captured the win in the Senior Girls race with a 14:52 and race pace of 6:10. 

The SHC Cross Country program's depth was on full display, with 85% of the team finishing in the top 50% of their respective races. SHC also celebrated a BPR (Best Personal Record) from Andrew Chen '29, who improved by an impressive 1:56. 

The Irish race next on Tuesday, September 8. when they compete in the Jim Tracy Invitational at Lindley Meadow in Golden Gate Park.
