Coach Kristin Ray shared her thoughts after the game. "I was happy with the win, but even more thrilled about how the team played. When we fell behind and it looked grim, the team kept fighting and found a way through. The sideline was amazing and helped keep the team going when they got down. I am really proud of how tough the team played and how they battled with real heart. They did it together."
SHC President Dr. Melinda Skrade watched the game from the booth and stated, "There's nothing more exciting than witnessing the Irish strength on both sides of the ball!"
The Irish travel to the Cowboy Up Tournament hosted by Salinas High School on Saturday and are on the road against Menlo on Monday at Notre Dame Belmont.
