Emily Rogers is in her third season as head coach of the SHC Girls Tennis program. In her first season, she led the program to a Central Coast Section post season appearance. Coach Emily also serves as the assistant coach of the SHC Boys Tennis program. She has been playing tennis since the age of five and was taught by former SHC Coach Raymond Wong. In addition to her coaching duties, Coach Rogers serves as Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Associate Director of Student Activities. In her fours years as a varsity tennis player at SHC, she was a member of the first Irish team to make a Central Coast Section playoff appearance. Her favorite tennis players are Serena Williams and Roger Federer.
