The SHC Athletic Performance program prepares the student-athletes of our various sports programs to meet the physical demands of their activities and to achieve their highest athletic potential. Coach Peuse works individually with each team to create an off-season and in-season training program that includes speed, agility, strength, power, mobility and metabolic conditioning. The program also includes education on other aspects of performance, such as nutrition, sleep, hydration, stress reduction and leadership.Â
More importantly, the purpose of the SHC Athletic Performance program is to teach life lessons. Our goal is to use the program in the overall development of our student-athletes, and to help them become young men and women of substance, character and integrity. Ultimately, we strive to give our athletes the tools and understanding to be successful in the classroom, on the field, on the court, in the community, at home, and in life after SHC.Â
