Christon Rance '96 returns to his alma mater and to the SHC football program as the defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. Prior to coaching, Rance played four years of Division 1 football for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was signed in 2001 by the Dallas Cowboys. He hopes to share his knowledge and experience as a new member of the Fightin' Irish coaching staff. In addition to his coaching duties, Rance serves Sacred Heart Cathedral as an Instructor of Social Studies. A standout athlete during his time at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rance will be inducted into the SHC Athletic Hall of Fame in February 2023.
